Thursday, December 15, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 5:15am we pushed our baggage trolley across the walkway and checked in for our Quantas flight to New Zealand. I was sucking on a cough drop, hoping no one would spot my cough and refuse to let me board the plane.
We landed in Wellington, rented a car, and drove north for 2 hours. My cousin Sarah and her husband Jim have restored the old racing club in Foxton. Jim loves to tinker, and he had restored a wonderful musical cart that played by key punched cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our daughter Katie and her family met us in Foxton as planned. We were planning on traveling around New Zealand together for the next two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
